My approach to counselling is flexible and shaped around you as an individual. I understand that everyone experiences and processes things differently, so there is no expectation for you to fit into a particular way of doing therapy.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you, make sense of experiences from the past or present, and begin to notice patterns that may be affecting how you feel about yourself, your relationships or everyday life.
I work in a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming way, with an understanding of how our experiences, relationships and nervous system can influence how we feel and respond. Sessions can be adapted to suit your communication style, processing time and individual needs.
Most importantly, counselling is a space where you can be yourself. You don’t need to have the right words, know where to begin or have everything figured out before you come.
We start wherever you are and work from there, together.
